Anton & Wincent Jaguar Briar Pipe

Wincent is a pipe line crafted in a dedicated Mr.Bróg studio, where enhanced technological standards and carefully selected materials are applied. Produced in short runs, Wincent pipes offer diverse and often collector-oriented interpretations of the classic smoking pipe.

This model was created in cooperation with the renowned Anton Pipes workshop from Lviv, Ukraine.

The design is inspired by the black jaguar (often referred to as a black panther) — a melanistic variation of the American jaguar (Panthera onca). Its nearly entirely black coat results from a genetic mutation causing excessive dark pigmentation. Melanistic jaguars are estimated to represent only about 10% of the population, making them rare and symbolically powerful animals.

This figurative pipe features a dynamically carved head of a predatory cat with strongly emphasized anatomical details. Crafted from high-quality Italian briar, the model was produced in an extremely limited quantity — only the single piece shown in the photos is available. Deep, expressive carving — from the massive jawline to sharply defined features — gives the pipe a bold and realistic character. Much of the surface has been subtly sandblasted to highlight the natural grain of the wood and enhance the three-dimensional effect. The pipe is stained and protected with a layer of hard Carnauba wax.

The bowl is pre-carbonized and designed for a medium portion of tobacco, best suited for shorter, controlled smoking sessions. The pipe is fitted with an ebonite Army Mount stem and is non-filtered.
