Anton & Wincent Bear Briar Pipe

Wincent pipes are a brand of pipes made in a separate Mr.Bróg studio with a higher technological regime using selected raw materials. The short series show different faces of the pipes, often interesting for the collector. The presented model was created in cooperation with the well-known and respected Anton Pipes brand from Lviv, Ukraine. 

Przemyśl - a city with a bear in its coat of arms. With a history of almost seven hundred years, the coat of arms of Przemyśl is one of the oldest Polish municipal coats of arms, having been created in the second half of the 14th century. In Przemyśl you will find many references to the figure of the bear, such as the fountain in the center of the Market Square or smaller figures located in various parts of the city. Przemyśl is also known for its long-standing production of pipes, and is often called the Capital of Polish Pipe Making, so it's no surprise that a pipe with a bear likeness is made.

The figural tobacco pipe is made of Italian briar in dark stain. Realistically carved pipe in the shape of a bear's head exudes natural elegance, able to render the details of the fur, the delicate outlines of the musculature, creating a unique work of art in wood. The surface of the briar protected by a layer of hard Carnauba wax largely sandblasted for the right look. The mouthpiece was created from durable acrylic, it has a place for a replaceable 9mm filter, the furnace is pre-carbonized. The pipe is light and handy, packaged in a fabric pouch and an elegant gift box.
