Anton & Wincent Wolffish Briar Pipe

Wincent is a premium pipe line crafted in a dedicated Mr.Bróg studio, operating under enhanced technological standards and using carefully selected materials. Produced in short runs, Wincent pipes present diverse and often collector-focused interpretations of classic pipe design.

This model was created in collaboration with the respected Anton Pipes workshop from Lviv, Ukraine.

The inspiration behind this design is the Atlantic wolffish — a predatory species inhabiting the cold waters of the North Atlantic, typically reaching 50–150 cm in length and weighing over 20 kg. It is known for its powerful teeth used to crush crustaceans and sea urchins, as well as its elongated body featuring grey-blue or rusty-brown coloration with distinctive dark stripes.

This figural pipe features a boldly carved fish head rendered with striking detail. Crafted from high-quality Italian briar in a strictly limited quantity, the pipe combines artistic expression with functionality. Deep, expressive carving — from the strong jawline to sharply defined anatomical features — gives the piece a dramatic and sculptural presence. Much of the surface is lightly sandblasted, enhancing the natural texture of the briar and adding dimensional depth. The pipe is stained and finished with a protective layer of hard Carnauba wax.

The bowl is pre-carbonized and designed for a medium tobacco load, making it particularly suitable for shorter, controlled smoking sessions. The pipe features an ebonite Army Mount stem and is non-filtered.
