Description
A very elegant pipe in the shape of OOM Paul was handmade from the wood of old pear tree. The pipe, massive and quite heavy with a characteristically curved shank, fits perfectly in the hand. Tightly fitted in the shank, the acrylic stem has a 9mm diameter filter while the shank itself is finished with a beautiful silver-plated ring. An interesting proposition for pipe lovers of this particular form. All packed in an original box with the logo of our studio.

I have 2 of these...smooth mahogany and rusticated green. I use the green as a dedicated Cavendish pipe and the mahogany as a dedicated English pipe. I bought them for $40 apiece on Amazon, so they may be seconds due to a design flaw. The hole between the bowl and stem is drilled a little high to where the filter blocks off the hole. I remedied this by drilling a narrow channel from the hole to the bottom of the filter chamber, allowing smoke to pass easier and through the filter. The Brog filters fit perfect, but have a slightly larger OD than Perl or BB. When using other 9mm filters, I have to shim the filter in place with a small piece of paper to keep the filter seated in the stem so it doesn't fall to the bottom. That being said, the pipes were $80 well-spent. They are comfortable in the hand, smoke like a dream, and get compliments on a regular basis. I'm completely happy with my purchases.

AMAZING! fantastic draw, cool smoke and a grand chamber allowing for a long comfortable smoke. the wide bit is very comfortable and rests on my chin nicely while lightly clinching. the finish is fantastic! the thick walls stop it from feeling very hot. such a pleasure to use.
