Signature Pipe Commemorating the 35th Anniversary of Zbigniew Bednarczyk's Pipe-Making Career

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Zbigniew Bednarczyk’s professional career, a unique limited edition of pipes has been created in honor of one of Poland’s most respected pipe makers. Known worldwide as Zibi, he is the founder of Bróg Pipes, President of the Przemyśl Pipe Club, a dedicated promoter of pipe-smoking culture, and the creator of the Zibi brand.

Over more than three decades, he has built an internationally recognized reputation through uncompromising craftsmanship, bold designs, and carefully selected materials. His work is distinguished by original shapes that often go beyond traditional forms, crafted primarily from premium Italian briar supplied by the renowned Mimmo Romeo Domenico briar mill. He also frequently works with olive wood, valued for its exceptional natural beauty. When asked what had inspired him throughout those years, his answer was simple: “How wonderful it is to make pipes in Przemyśl…”

This anniversary edition is handcrafted from premium Plateau briar in the form of a large Poker. Each pipe preserves the natural outer surface of the briar burl on the rim, making every piece completely unique. Some examples also feature a subtly rounded base, further emphasizing their individual character. The plateau surface represents the most prized section of the briar burl and is highly valued by pipe makers for its natural beauty and rarity.

The pipe is fitted with a substantial saddle-style acrylic stem designed for interchangeable 9 mm filters. Completing the design is a sterling silver band engraved with the anniversary inscription and featuring both the original and current Bróg Pipes logos. Every pipe is individually hand-signed by Zbigniew Bednarczyk, enhancing its authenticity and collectible value.

Each pipe is supplied with a fabric pouch and an elegant presentation box.
