Description
A briar tournament pipe made by the Czech company BPK, with the classic Billiard model. It was made especially for the Cradle 2023 - Tournament in Free Pipe Smoking, organized during the XVIII Pipe Festival "Dýmko Ahoj!" in Przemyśl, Poland. The pipe has an acrylic stem, in which it is possible to use a replaceable 9mm filter. Furnace precarbonized, decorative ring. On the pipe there are two engravings referring to the Holiday and the company logo. The set includes a tournament pipe along with a tamper, matches and a themed box. Limited number of pieces.

I’ve grown rather fond of tournament-style pipes, and this BPK is a fine example of why. Beyond its striking looks, it is exceptionally well made. The stem is robust and confidently finished, lending the pipe a reassuring sense of solidity. The rustication is glorious — deep, tactile, almost geological — inviting the hand as much as the eye. In the smoke, it delivers where it matters. An excellent draw, steady and open, paired with admirable thermal behavior. The bowl offers a generous capacity, perfectly suited for unhurried smokes. There’s a quiet sense of indestructibility about it — a pipe that feels built not just to be admired, but to endure. A dependable companion, and one that inspires confidence from the very first bowl.
