Tournament Pipe – Romanian Slow Pipe Smoking Championship 2026

The Slow Pipe Smoking Championship is a unique competition in which participants compete to smoke the same quantity of tobacco for the longest possible time under identical conditions. Events of this kind are organized worldwide by pipe clubs affiliated with the international pipe-smoking community.

In April 2026, the Romanian National Slow Pipe Smoking Championship took place in Bucharest. We had the honor of producing the official tournament pipe for this prestigious event. Having our pipes selected for such an important competition and appreciated by experienced pipe smokers from many countries is a tremendous distinction for our workshop. We would like to thank the organizers for their trust and congratulate them on a successful championship.

The pipe is handcrafted from premium Italian Mimmo briar (Liguria). Its straight, paneled bowl was designed exclusively for the championship according to specifications approved by the organizers. The bowl features a sandblasted finish, while the rim and shank have been left smooth to highlight the natural beauty of the briar.

A distinctive feature of this model is the acrylic accent ring in the colors of the Romanian national flag, positioned between the shank and the mouthpiece. The matching tournament pipe tamper included with the set features the same acrylic ring, creating a cohesive and elegant ensemble.

The durable acrylic mouthpiece is fitted with a Teflon tenon designed for 9 mm filters and includes a 3 mm filter adapter. The tobacco chamber is factory pre-carbonized to facilitate the break-in process.
