Description
The Churchwarden is a classic tobacco pipe distinguished by its exceptionally long stem, offering a unique and refined smoking experience. Model no. 009 was handcrafted in our workshop near Przemyśl from high-quality Italian briar supplied by the renowned Mimmo Romeo. This pipe is available as a single, one-of-a-kind piece shown in the photographs.
Churchwarden pipes act as a natural cooling system — the extended smoke channel lowers the temperature of the smoke before it reaches the smoker’s mouth. As a result, the smoke becomes cooler, drier, and richer in flavor. This construction encourages slow and controlled smoking, although cleaning may require extra care — long pipe cleaners are recommended.
Note: The bowl features an unusually narrow 13 mm diameter, making it suitable for shorter sessions with a smaller amount of tobacco. Standard tampers may not fit this size, therefore a properly sized oak tamper is included in the set. The stem and slim shank ring are made of durable acrylic. The pipe is filterless.
The set includes: the pipe, fabric pouch, presentation box, and matching tamper.
