World Championships Bucharest 2023 tournament pipe

The world championship of slow pipe smoking is a fascinating event. Participants compete for the best possible score, i.e. the longest time of uninterrupted smoking, an equal amount of tobacco for all. The atmosphere is permeated with passion for the topic of pipe smoking and each competitor presents his individual style. On Sunday, October 8, 2023, another championship was held in Bucharest with 199 participants from all over the world. We had the honor and pleasure of making a pipe especially for the occasion. A wide range of experienced pipe makers and smokers, during an event of world renown, confirmed the quality of our workmanship and so with confidence we can present it to you as well :)

Tournament pipe, handmade from Italian briar (Mimmo - Liguria). Bowl and shank of the pipe sandblasted, rim and place for marking, natural. Furnace precarbonized. The ring in the color of the Romanian flag was made of acrylic, the same motif can be found on the included wooden tamper. The black or ivory-colored stem is also made of durable acrylic, Teflon tenon with space for a 9 mm filter. The pipe is packaged in a fabric pouch and gift box.
