Anton & Wincent Gandalf Briar Pipe

Wincent pipes are a brand of pipes made in a separate Mr.Bróg studio with a higher technological regime using selected raw materials. The short series show different faces of the pipes, often interesting for the collector. The presented model was created in cooperation with the well-known and respected Anton Pipes brand from Lviv, Ukraine.  

Gandalf is a legendary wizard from the Middle-earth mythology created by J.R.R. Tolkien. He is known for his wisdom, powerful spells and indomitable will. His distinctive appearance includes a long, bearded beard, a long cloak and a magical staff with which he can summon spectacular spells. Gandalf plays a key role in battles against the forces of evil, guiding the heroes through numerous adventures on their journey through Middle-earth. His deep wisdom and mysterious past make him an extremely fascinating and respected character among readers and fans of fantasy literature.

The figural pipe designed for smoking tobacco was made of Italian briar in dark staining. The carved pipe in the shape of Gandalf's head impresses with its beauty and remarkable realism. Details such as the expressive face, beard and long hair are a faithful reproduction of the character from Middle-earth. This is not only an object for smoking tobacco, but also a work of art that transports us into the magical world created by J.R.R. Tolkien. The surface of the briar is protected by a layer of hard Carnauba wax, much of it sandblasted for the texture of the briar. The mouthpiece was created from durable acrylic, it has a place for a replaceable 9mm filter, the furnace is pre-carbonized. The pipe is light and handy, packed in a fabric pouch and an elegant gift box.
