ZIPPO EUROPEAN REPAIR CLINIC
Groendahlscher Weg 87
D-46446 EMMERICH am Rhein
Germany
Remember to provide the address (if necessary also the telephone number and e-mail address) to which the repaired lighter is to be sent. The lighter will be sent back at the cost of the service, so the customer only bears the shipping costs. The repair itself, as well as the parts used, are free of charge. The lighter will be sent back within approximately 8 weeks from the date of its posting in Poland.
What is not covered by the warranty:
- appearance of the lighter (surface scratches, color change) and finishing elements (prints, emblems),
- filling with gasoline and periodic replacement of scale and wick are the responsibility of the user.
Tips for shipping gasoline lighters for repair:
Remove the cartridge from the lighter and leave it for two or three days to allow the gasoline to air out completely. When the cartridge is completely dry, place it back into the housing. Pack the lighter carefully in a bubble envelope or cardboard box. If you are shipping multiple lighters, pack them together. Put a piece of paper in the package with your details: name, address and telephone number. Pack the package carefully and send it by registered mail to the address provided." - Zippo Poland
