ALTINAY Block Meerschaum Set Straight & Bent Pipes Turkey

An interesting and rare set, two handmade from sea foam (sepiolite) Atinay pipes, enclosed in a dedicated case. The pipes are very sleek, not overly large, as is often the case with Turkish foams. An additional advantage is their classic shapes. The straight model has a hand-decorated bowl, the design can be seen in the photos in the gallery. Acrylic stems with space for a 9 mm filter. Stem stub fixed in the shank of the pipe permanently, such a solution eliminates excessive stress arising during frequent mounting and dismounting of the stem and extends the life of the pipe. The price includes two pipes and a dedicated case. Only one set shown in the photos available.

Before heather pipes became common it was sepiolite that was the material from which the most prized pipes were made, it allows smoking tobacco cool and remarkably tasty, but only if you give it a lot of attention and experience. The pipe is not suitable for a novice. It should be remembered to take exceptional care of its cleanliness, not allowing the accumulation of carbon deposits, to smoke tobacco in it evenly, coolly and no more than once a day.
