Description

A beautiful and stylish Churchwarden pipe, handcrafted from briar in Saint-Claude – the French capital of pipe making – by the renowned Chacom workshop.

The warm brown color of the sandblasted briar, the patterned translucent acrylic stem with its visible smoke channel, and the gold-colored ferrule create a harmonious and elegant composition. The distinctive elongated Churchwarden shape gives the pipe a unique appearance while also influencing the way the smoke reaches the smoker. Although long pipes are less convenient to handle than standard models, their extended construction allows the smoke to cool more effectively. Anyone who has had the opportunity to enjoy their favorite tobacco in a pipe of this type knows that cooler smoke can also be noticeably drier and more pleasant.

The pipe is designed for use with either a 9 mm filter or a 3 mm condenser. It also features a built-in reducer, allowing the smoker to choose between the two setups according to personal preference.

The pipe comes with a fabric pouch and an original Chacom presentation box.

Bróg Pipes and Chacom share a long-standing friendship and a common passion for traditional pipe making. It is therefore with particular pleasure that we recommend this exceptional pipe, combining French craftsmanship with the distinctive elegance of the elongated Churchwarden form.

Chacom – France

The history of the brand dates back to the 19th century. In a small village near Avignon, the Comoy family began producing pipes for soldiers of Napoleon's army. In 1879, Henri Comoy and his cousin Chapuis began working together, producing high-quality briar pipes. Chapuis-Comoy eventually became one of the best-known pipe-making companies. In 1922, their names were combined, while Chacom officially became a brand in 1928. To this day, Chacom pipes are known and appreciated by pipe enthusiasts around the world.
