Description
Chacom Freehand Bent – an extravagant shape with a natural briar character
An extravagant pipe made from briar by the renowned French manufacturer Chacom Saint-Claude France. Its distinctive Freehand styling, contrasting red stem and black bowl, together with the natural rim, give the pipe a bold and highly individual character.
The pipe is made from Plateau briar, with the natural bark deliberately preserved around the rim to emphasize its organic form. The beautiful Ring Grain works particularly well with the sandblasted finish, highlighting the natural character of the briar and adding visual depth to the overall design.
The spacious chamber is additionally protected with a pre-carbonized coating. Despite this feature, the pipe should still be broken in carefully and gradually. The pre-carbonization helps initiate the development of a natural cake, allowing the smoker to enjoy the pipe's full potential somewhat sooner while becoming acquainted with their favourite tobacco.
The red acrylic stem, bearing the characteristic Chacom branding, is fitted with a practical reducer that allows the use of either 9 mm filters or a 3 mm condenser. The pipe can also be smoked without any filter, providing flexibility to suit individual preferences.
The pipe comes with a fabric pouch and an elegant Chacom presentation box, finished with distinctive brown stitching. It is a complete and attractive set that would also make an excellent gift for a smoker looking for something beyond conventional pipe shapes.
Only one example is available – exactly the pipe shown in the photographs.
Mr. Bróg and Chacom have shared a long-standing friendship, which is why we are particularly proud to recommend this exceptional model from the renowned French brand.

Chacom – France
The history of the brand dates back to the time of Napoleon, when the Comoy family began producing pipes for soldiers in a small village near Avignon. In 1879, Henri Comoy joined forces with his cousin Chapuis, beginning a joint production of briar pipes. Chapuis Comoy soon became one of the best-known pipe manufacturers.
In 1922, the two names were combined, and in 1928 the Chacom brand was officially established. To this day, its pipes are appreciated by enthusiasts around the world for their combination of quality, classic design and distinctive French style.
