Description
An original pipe crafted in the workshop of Ryszard Filar — one of the most important figures in Polish pipe making and a student of Ludwik Walat. This piece, marked with serial number 140, represents authentic craftsmanship and the distinctive style of its maker.
The pipe is handcrafted from quality briar in a classic, straightforward shape and remains in very good condition. The wood is stained and finished with a layer of hard Carnauba wax, enhancing the natural grain and ensuring durability.
It features a saddle stem designed for 9 mm filters. The bowl is pre-carbonized, and the gently beveled rim improves ease of lighting and overall comfort. With its balanced proportions and convenient size, the pipe is well suited for relaxed, everyday smoking sessions.
Due to the retirement of Ryszard Filar, the pieces available in this series are among the last remaining examples and will not be produced again. This makes it a unique offering for collectors and enthusiasts of traditional pipe craftsmanship.
Set includes: pipe, fabric pouch, and original manufacturer’s box.
