Description
An original pipe crafted in the workshop of Ryszard Filar — one of the most important figures in Polish pipe-making and a student of Ludwik Walat. This piece, marked with serial number 5a, is a genuine representation of the maker’s craftsmanship and distinctive artistic style.
The pipe is handmade from high-quality briar, shaped into a classic and timeless form, enhanced by the maker’s signature rusticated finish. The precision and attention to detail highlight its artisanal and collectible character, typical of the period in which it was created.
The model features a tapered stem designed for 9 mm filters, ensuring comfortable use. The pre-carbonized bowl allows for easy break-in, while the gently bent shank and convenient size make it ideal for relaxed, everyday smoking sessions.
As Ryszard Filar has ceased his professional activity, the remaining pieces from this series are among the last ever produced and will not be made again. This makes it a truly exceptional offering for collectors and enthusiasts of traditional pipe-making.
*The pipe does not include the original manufacturer’s packaging.
